The Artist Panel Primed Smooth wood panels have a semi-absorbent acid-free ground that is amazingly smooth and accepts artists' paints and drawing materials beautifully. The Primed Smooth panel is ideal for oils, acrylics, water media, and pencil in all painting styles especially highly detailed paintings and drawings. The flat 1/8in panel is made using Ampersand true artist hardboard for extra-dimensional stability in larger sizes. Ultra-stable, these wood panels will not give, bend or flex and like all of Ampersand's panels, they are made with quality materials that have been tested both for durability and also for performance with artists' paints.
