Shipping Policies

Rebel Bookstore is dedicated to making sure your books are carefully packaged and sent to you in a timely manner. Plus, if your order is over $100, shipping is FREE. On average, you can expect your books a week after they are ordered. For in-store pickup, they're generally ready within the next two hours. During the beginning of a semester term these wait times can be affected. 

Deferred Payments

Financial aid and paychecks don't always come through before classes start. We want you to be prepared for your classes! We offer a deferred payment program whereby a check or credit/debit card payment will be held until an agreed upon future date--usually within three weeks of the start of the term. Customers are responsible for any collection fees if the payment is invalid and we can't get in touch with you to arrange another payment option.

Rentals

A great way to save money on textbooks is to rent them! You will need your driver's license to set up your customer account (only a one-time requirement) and a bank-issued credit/debit card with a balance to secure the rental. You will agree to return the rentals by a specified date. Also, you will agree to return the rentals in acceptable condition (no water damage, no missing pages, limited writing/highlighting, etc.). If a book is lost, stolen or damaged, you will be responsible for paying the difference between the rental price and the purchase price. If there is an issue, it is always best to call or come by the store and take care of any payment due. Otherwise, you will be assessed a 7% restocking fee on top of the other charges. Customers are responsible for any collection fees if books are not returned, the payment form on record is invalid, or we can't get in touch with you to arrange another payment option.

Renting is a great option even if you think you want to keep your textbooks. It allows you to save money on the front end and gives you the flexibility to finalize the purchase of your textbooks at any time during the rental period--all at once or one at a time. There are no extra charges, you will just owe the difference between the rental price and the purchase price.

Any loose-leaf rentals must be returned in a binder or otherwise secured with zip ties, binder rings, or even a Ziploc bag. Missing pages will cost you money!

Buybacks

We buy textbooks at any time during the year. The textbooks can come from us or from other stores or websites. The textbooks can have been used at Ole Miss or any other school. If we can use the books, we will give you cash.

You will need to provide your driver's license or have an existing customer account with us. Books must be in good condition with no water damage.
