Mars Lumograph Black drawing pencils feature a high proportion of carbon for matte, jet black results. They are perfect for dramatic sketches with intense rich blacks. They combine the advantages of graphite and charcoal pencils but should not be mistaken for a charcoal pencil as the lead contains unburned carbon rather than charcoal. Featuring break-resistant leads made through special lead formulation, the pencils are housed in wood from certified, sustainably managed forests. Made in Germany.
