The enormous amount of labour involved in handmaking interlocked brushes has led da Vinci to develop a new technology, which enables them to manufacture the artist brushes in a more effective way. The fruit of these efforts is MAESTRO where a perfectly shaped brush-head is implanted deeply into the ferrule, to guarantee enduring elasticity, springiness and longevity.
